jammers
Hello, Steve, well to answer your question, Since most jammers are hams, they will always be around,
I often hear the box being jammed, at 2,3 oclock in the morning, ? nobody on, but still being jammed,
seems a bit senseless to me, but never mind

Hi Andy
I was on EL last night 05-05-09 from around 0115 local time. I could not get anyone else to pop up. But it seems easyer to get in now than it was before. Perhaps they have a better aerial now. I was useing a handheld with 5 watts and getting a really good signal back. Almost end stop.

Hi steve, yes it is a better signal, still gets affected by rain and such, still on wide deviation, and still no ctcss, but then I don't think gb3nl has either, the usual crowd inhabite it, along with some interlopers from kent, at least one of them is a jammer, mind you he says he's not, spends a long time trying to prove he's innocent, still, we all know different, ok, nice to hear from you again,
At least i can use my

I think its great that there is no ctcss. At least i can use my old 1970's Icom that i used to use for SL. I still have the ribbon cable aerial strung up in my bedroom window from those days. I see that you were up at 5:34am. So i no when to find you on the repeaters. But sadly im normally asleep then. I was thinking that 1:00am might be late. I have an 8:00 o clock start at work.
Thanks
