The purpose of this Petition is to call on Mr Gordon Brown at number 10 to get his Government to enforce the Wireless Telegraphy Act and stop abuse on the amateur bands, especially repeaters.
Ofcom have a responsibility it is the independent regulator and competition authority for communication and have been undersigned by the Secretary of State to enforce the Wireless Telegraphy Act.
Since, Ofcom took over in December 2003 it appears they have done very little in protecting the amateur bands from abuse. We need an end to abuse. Please sign our National Petition today it's important to your & your hobby, please inform all your amateur friends about our campaign.

They will only push for digital repeaters now
All i can see is that at the end of the day they will suggest digital repeaters that can be programmed to lock abusers out. There will be a meeting as a result of all this and an expert will be asked to summerise and give his opinion. He will say go digital.
But thanks for finding this Andy.
